Lampros Arampatzis started spearfishing at the age of 15 and became a freediving instructor at the age of 24, making him the youngest instructor in the Greek records (CMAS-Ε.Ο.ΥΔ.Α.Α). He later proceeded to become a spearfishing instructor with the organization to complete his lifelong goal of educating people worldwide on the sustainability and art of undewater hunting. Since 2023 he created his own freediving and spearfishing school in his birthplace Plakias, located on the south of Crete, the biggest island in Greece and one of the most beautiful destinations for freediving and spearfishing.

He also shares a great interest for Blockchain Technology and is planning to research how such a technology can be utilized to provide solutions for replenishing fish stocks and managing invasive species in the Mediterranean sea.
